Foundation

The institute stands as a symbol of excellence and commitment in the field of Allied Health Sciences, offering a perfect blend of academic rigor, clinical exposure, and holistic development. Located within the serene 100-acre green campus of Bhaikaka University at Karamsad, it provides a vibrant and supportive learning environment that inspires students to learn, grow, and serve for the community and the nation.

The institute is closely affiliated with Shree Krishna Hospital, a 1000-bed NABH-accredited multi-specialty tertiary care hospital and NABL-accredited Central Diagnostic Laboratory. How We Are Different

At K.M. Patel Institute of Physiotherapy, differentiation is not a claim — it is demonstrated through systems, service, and sustained outcomes. Established in 1999 and recognized as the first stand-alone physiotherapy institute in India to receive NAAC accreditation (2013), KMPIP has consistently aligned academic rigor with clinical excellence and community responsibility.

Our greatest strength lies in our hospital-integrated model within Shree Krishna Hospital. Students are trained in a real-time clinical ecosystem that includes ICU, cardiac ICU, neurological rehabilitation, EMG/NCS diagnostics, orthotic services, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Learning is immersive and competency-driven, ensuring graduates are clinically confident, ethically grounded, and practice-ready from day one.

KMPIP goes beyond curriculum delivery. Structured mentorship, outcome-based academic monitoring, active research governance, and value-based professional formation create an environment where students grow intellectually and personally. Our fellowship programs in cardiac and onco rehabilitation reflect responsiveness to emerging healthcare needs. Faculty members are academically trained, research-oriented, and committed to continuous quality improvement — a culture reinforced through institutional committees and transparent academic processes.

For policymakers and accreditation bodies, KMPIP represents responsible healthcare education in action. Registration under the PwD Act, partnerships with Special Olympics Bharat, participation in Khel Mahakumbh, and community outreach initiatives demonstrate measurable social engagement. As a constituent institute of Bhaikaka University, we operate within a collaborative academic and clinical framework that supports research integrity, innovation, and equitable healthcare delivery.

mission

KMPIP stands apart because we do not merely produce physiotherapists — we develop competent professionals who serve with expertise, ethics, and empathy.
