| 1 | 17th to 22nd October 2019 | Pre and Post-Conference Workshop, 3rd International Physiotherapy Conference 2019 on Lifestyle Modification for Fitness: A Key of 21st Century”, World Physiotherapy Congress | KMPIP took part in the 3rd International physiotherapy conference 2019 with the theme “Lifestyle Modification for fitness: A key of 21st Century”, World Physiotherapy Congress from 17th to 22nd October 2019 organized by Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth, Udaipur, Rajasthan as academic partner. The pre and post-conference workshops on “Clinical Pathways of Management of Shoulder Dysfunction” by Dr. Safdar Ali Syed, Physiotherapist, and MSK- Sonographer and injection therapist- MSK Service London, and “Application of Biomechanical Bellia system taping” by Prof. Bellia Rosarion, President, Italian Kinesiology Taping Association respectively were held at KMPIP wherein more than 120 delegates participated enthusiastically. The main conference was held at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth, Udaipur, Rajasthan where faculty participated as resource persons and presented papers. |
| 2 | 17th March 2019 | State Level Hands-on workshop on "Cancer Rehabilitation | The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Shailendra Mehta who is a cancer rehabilitation specialist, preventive oncology specialist, and lymphedema therapist (UK). A total of 63 delegates including practicing Physiotherapists, Postgraduate students, Interns, final-year and third-year students along with faculty members attended the workshop. The delegates participated from various colleges throughout the state. |

In this program, our therapists treat the children with disabilities visiting the resource rooms every Friday. |

| 9 | 24th to 29th July 2019 | Vrukshotsav | To cherish the memories of the foundation of the Charutar Arogya Mandal and to serve humanity by contributing to saving Mother Earth, “Vrukshotsav”- A week-long tree plantation celebration was held at campus wherein 1000 trees at various locations on the campus were planted to contribute to the Green Movement, thereby offering healthy and green environment; not only to our patients but to each and every member of the Mandal. KMPIP along with other institutions of the Mandal actively participated in this initiative. |

| 15 | 17th to 28th March 2019 | Physio Pulse 2019 | A week-long institutional annual function Physio- Pulse 2019 was organized with the theme “V 4 U” under the core theme “ABILITY BEYOND DISABILITY and EACH ONE TEACH ONE” wherein various co-curricular and extracurricular activities were conducted: - Hands-on workshop for lymphedema management for cancer rehabilitation - Inaugural ceremony - 1st State level Intercollege quiz competition - Celebration of various days like group day, white and black, tribute to the army, traditional day, denim day, etc. - Cultural competition was organized in which solo and duet Singing, Dancing (solo, duet & group), Poetry writing, Pot painting, Cooking without fire, Rangoli, Craft and decoration, Hair styling, etc. - Literature competitions like Perfect personality, Photography, Minute to win it, Spell bee, etc. - Sports events like fun cricket, tug of war, bottle race, musical chair, dodgeball, etc. - Special Olympics- This event was held at the district level wherein more than 200 participants took part from various different special schools and institutions. - Grand Finale: The students were awarded for their academic excellence and for their participation in various events held as a part of this annual function. Cultural events including the dance and skit performances by our students also included the dance performances by the specially-abled patients from various special schools viz. Gurukrupa Academy, Mitra Rehabilitation, Andhjaan Mandal, Sathi School, Tarapur school, and Bachpan NGO. The most prestigious thing for any student is the award for the best outgoing student, which is the Gold medal. This year the Gold medal was awarded to Mr. Jeet Patel (Batch 2014). - Unified fashion show: To promote social inclusiveness, the institute created a platform to bring oneness between people with disabilities and people without disabilities. The students and faculty of KMPIP organized a unified fashion show for persons with disabilities where one normal student did a ramp walk with another child with a disability which was a heartening scene to witness. |
