The orientation program of first Postgraduate batch [MPT] of KM Patel Institute of Physiotherapy, Bhaikaka University, began on 2nd July, 2020. The Provost – Dr. Utpala Kharod, Registrar – Dr. Harish Desai, Controller of Academics – Dr. Swapnil Agarwal, Principal of KMPIP – Dr. R Harihara Prakash and other faculty members remained present and inspired the newly admitted students. The week long orientation program will create an awareness among the students about the academic and clinical practices of the course.
The farewell function for the graduating batch [BPT] of KM Patel Institute of Physiotherapy, Bhaikaka University was held on 1st July 2020 at Bhikhabhai Auditorium. Twenty seven graduates took the oath.
On this occasion Dr. Kshama Bhakta was awarded gold medal for her best performances in academics, sports and cultural activities. Dr. Rutvi Patel and Dr. Vaishali Barvalia were awarded first and second rank for academic excellence. The Provost - Dr. Utpala Kharod, Registrar - Dr. Harish Desai, Principal - Dr. Harihara Prakash, PSMC Dean - Dr. Himanshu Pandya and Nursing college Principal - Smt. Raksha Parmar also remained present.
With reference to the advertisement dated 9th May, 2020 for the admission of Postgraduate course in Physiotherapy (MPT) at KMPIP, the applications were received form registered BPT graduates of recognised colleges. The online entrance test for the same was held on 28th May, 2020 for the eligible candidates and the counseling session for the admission was held on 1st June, 2020 as per the merit list. The eligible candidates were offered the seats as per their choice of speciality and the remaining candidates are wait-listed. The regular classes for the same will be commensed from 2nd July, 2020.
